Stewards are powerful warriors within the Dread created from transformed Hive, created by Shin'ra from the usage of the Echo of Conquests.

Gameplay[edit]

The Steward functions similarly to the Hive Vanquishers of the Grasp of Nokris, commonly charging towards opponents and striking them with their Steward Spears. They also wield shields, but unlike Vanquishers, these shields are immune to all damage and cover most of the Steward's body, except for part of their left leg and arm. When their opponents are at a distance, they are capable of throwing their spears, and upon impact onto a surface, will create a moderate Solar explosion known as Burning Strike.

The Stewards are also known to be support units, sometimes unleashing a Rallying Cry to heal nearby allies that are at low health. The Rallying Cry will be indicated by a resonant pulse released from the Steward. Any ally within the range of the pulse will be healed, with the low ranking ones healed completely and higher ranking ones healed moderately.
