The Royal Awoken Guard, also known as the Queensguard, is the personal bodyguard of Mara Sov, the Queen of the Reef. They are primarily tasked with safeguarding the Queen from both direct threats to her person and indirect threats that endanger the Reef as a whole.

During Skolas' rebellion, a Fallen contingent of guards attempted to assassinate the Queen herself. Led by their captain Saviks, Queenbreaker,[2] the Awoken guards repulsed the newly dubbed Queenbreakers with heavy casualties on both sides.[3][4]
