Barrier Heavy Shanks are powerful Fallen automata armed with Barrier technology to help aid in the defense of Fallen assets.
Gameplay[edit]
Much like other Heavy Shanks, these massive drones press their opponents with their maneuverability and rapidly firing cannons. However, they can also use a Shock melee if any opponent gets too close, rapidly shredding their health. If enough health is lost, the Shank will activate it's defense barrier, protecting it from almost all outside damage while healing itself with it's self-repair protocols. To prevent this, it is advisable that a Guardian should use Anti-Barrier mods from the Seasonal Artifact to penetrate the shields and expose the powerful machine to damage.
