I heard that some people are saying that this expansion is Fallen-themed because of the wolves, and they have two reasons: because there are wolves on the poster and that the background is Earth. However, I have a rebuttal. Keep in mind that the wolf is the icon of the Iron Banner, as they represent the long dead Iron Lords (excluding Saladin); they do not necessarily pertain to the House of Wolves. And as for the background...well, yes, it is Earth, but that's just Lord Saladin getting ready for something. I'm still hoping for a Cabal-themed campaign. I mean, think about how long they have been left out of the spotlight. -User:Primus Draug'oth

The House of Wolves by the time of TTK is already broken, bleeding, and defeated. All of their leadership has been hunted down and killed, the Prison of Elders by now is likely cleared out of any potential Wolf leadership, and whatever remnants there is has, in all probability, been scattered on Mars. If the survivors are smart they would be heading for the Moon to join House of Exiles. If they hadn't already been claimed by Oryx...
Now, onto the subject of the article: how do you make the picture to a more manageable size? It's too big for a proper article, even a stub. The formating articles are doing nothing to help me. Dante the Ghost (talk) 12:53, 21 May 2016 (EDT)

Remember 'Forge of the Gods' Expansion? I think this is it
You're right. The Wolves are broken. I was just saying that to try and disprove a few people's speculation on this expansion being Fallen-themed. Or it could just be me wanting a Cabal expansion. By the way, is this one of those paid DLCs? User:Primus Draug'oth

Would Rise of Iron be considered a year 3 expansion considering it's a year after the Taken King? User:Titan66

We don't know yet, but I'm sure Bungie will clarify it when we get closer to launch. MorningWalker (talk) 02:44, 22 May 2016 (EDT)

Besides the Taken introduced, wouldn't the Taken King expansion be considered a Hive expansion because it revolves around Oryx, the God-King of the Hive? User:Titan66

Can you elaborate on "year 3 expansion", please? I don't understand what you mean. Dante the Ghost (talk) 01:34, 22 May 2016 (EDT)
It refers to content season. All Destiny content released between September 2014 and September 2015 is classified by Bungie as Year One content. All content from September 2015 to presumably September 2016 is Year Two; The Taken King's launch marked the official start of Year Two. If Rise of Iron launches this September, then logically it should mark the start of Year Three, but until Bungie makes it official we can only speculate. MorningWalker (talk) 02:44, 22 May 2016 (EDT)

I've also heard that this expansion will only be for PS4 and XB1 players, which really pisses me off because I'm still playing on the 360. But then again, that might change. I hope that ALL Destiny players get a chance to play the expansion, regardless of what console they're playing on. Primus Draug'oth (talk) 16:35, 08 June 2016, (EST)

Did you get it from this? [1] If so, that sucks. I'd need to get a PS4 in order to play it. Dante the Ghost (talk) 19:46, 8 June 2016 (EDT)
I got it from multiple articles from sites like Polygon, IGN, Inquisitr, and even the Planet Destiny Website. And...I know, right? This expansion should be available for all Destiny players to enjoy regardless of console; Bungie and Activision have to keep that in mind. At the very least, this could be the last experience for last-gen consoles; I'm fine with that. But to cut it off right towards the end would be a d*ck move. But I guess we have to wait and see what they say at the big E3 2016 reveal. Hopefully, it's available for all consoles that the game supports. Speaking of which, what console do you play on, Dante? Primus Draug'oth
I play on PS3, but all of my friends are on either PS4 or Xbone. I might get an Xbone, but a friend advised me to wait and see before deciding. We'll have to wait at the reveal. Dante the Ghost (talk) 00:21, 9 June 2016 (EDT)
Yeah, let's just wait and see. I swear, if we're dropped, we better get at least something to play, or maybe we might get the expansion at a later date. Who knows? Also, it's been confirmed that it's about some Fallen mutants. Primus Draug'oth (talk) 07:23, 9 June 2016 (EST)
