The Neomuni Defense Turrets are a weapons platform employed by the defenses of Neomuna during the Invasion of Neptune.
Overview[edit]
These guns are placed in the Irkalla Complex, protecting the entrance to the Veil Containment. They were deactivated by Shadow Legion troops in an initial wave, but were reactivated by The Guardian to defend against the Dark Cabal's assault. The guns remained active for most of the attack, but the entire defense array was fully disabled before the arrival of the Imprints of Nezarec.
Gameplay[edit]
After defeating the two squads in front of the turrets, they will reactivate, exiting dormancy. The turrets will automatically target nearby foes, shooting them with bursts of Arc fire. In response, enemies will targets the weapons with their attacks, bringing down a visible health bar and causing them to emit smoke and sparks. If a turret's health bar reaches zero, it will deactivate for a period while its internal systems repair it. After enought time has passed, the turret will return operational.
