Light-Eater Knights are Hive Knights that appears as a unique enemy in the King's Fall Raid[1].
Gameplay[edit]
In Destiny, Light-Eater Knights appear on Hard Mode, after each Light-Eater Ogre is slain. They will immediately run towards one of the Corrupted Lights, passing in front of the platform on their side. If they reach a Corrupted Light, they will consume it, preventing players from using it to damage Oryx, and briefly becoming empowered with a green aura, much like a berserking normal Knight. It is imperative that they are killed, or they will severely slow down or even cause the encounter to fail.
Light-Eater Knights reappear in Destiny 2, with the reprisal of the King's Fall raid. They appear even in the raid's normal mode, and are now Elites, but are otherwise unchanged in behavior.[2]
Trivia[edit]
- The Vessel of Oryx and the Light-Eater Knights share a model, with the only difference being that the Vessel of Oryx uses a Boomer while the Light Eater Knights use Cleavers.
- The Vessel of Oryx and Light-Eater Knights are the only Hive to have pink armor.
- The health bar of the Light-Eater Knights in Destiny 2 is unique (or bugged), being the size of a Elite's but still colored yellow like that of a Major.
