Shadebinder is a Stasis-based Warlock subclass. It was released in the Beyond Light expansion of Destiny 2.

Overview

Embodying the archetype of a "dark wizard", Warlock Shadebinders use Stasis primarily for instant freezing; stopping their enemies in place in accordance to the Warlock's own perception of stillness and control. Imbued by Stasis energy, the Shadebinder can summon a Stasis staff that fires projectiles which can freeze opponents, immediately rendering them immobile. They also can unleash shockwaves upon any frozen enemies to shatter on command. Warlocks can even summon Stasis turrets for freezing and also generate shards off of defeated frozen enemies.[1]

But it returned when Ghaul's wicked contraption gripped the Traveler and the Light fled from my bones: a cold chorus in my ears, a shattered song demanding to be heard. I clung to it then, shivering in the rubble of the Last City. It drowned out the marching of Centurions and focused my will to survive.
