Acquisition is a location within The Sunken Pyramid, currently stuck in the Court of Savathûn. It is the first area of the Pyramid, housing a number of trophies collected by Rhulk, Disciple of the Witness, most notably the rib he took from the Leviathan of Fundament. One can see The Upended in the distance of it, feeding off Xita, the Nurturing Worm, who is strung across the whole Pyramid. Passing through the Acquisition will bring one to the Collection.
History[edit]
Once the Raid fireteam accessed the Pyramid, they were stopped at the Acquisition, where hordes of Scorn and Taken attempted to rid the Pyramid of them. The Guardians succeeded in decyphering the sequence of the totems and gained further access to the ship.[1] After Rhulk, Disciple of the Witness was defeated, the Scorn would still attempt to use the Pyramid for themselves, forcing Guardians to reach the Acquisiton again. Here, they could witness the now dead Xita lying under the deactivated Upended. After defeating the Scorn, Guardians could explore the area, learning more of the secrets of the Disciple.[2]
