POI-7 is the designation that was given to a Thrall of the Lucent Brood.

Biography[edit]

A few days after the rising of the Brood, the Thrall was analyzed by the investigator Nabenki, who found traces of Light in his system. Nabenki would then interrogate him using standard Hive techniques, and the Thrall confessed to stealing the Light, which they kept in urns, and implicated a superior Acolyte. The Knight's Ghost Specter was suspicious of the veridicity of the confession however, and Nabenki reluctantly allowed him to speak with the subject. The Thrall would admit to the Ghost that he fabricated his confession to end the "visceral" interrogation of the Lightbearer, and had no idea of where the Light in his system came from, just that his symbiote was sated without the need for bloodshed or other types of tithing.

Ultimately, it was concluded that there was no theft, and the Light was spontaneously trickling down into the tithing system. Despite this, the investigators still executed the Thrall for perjury.[1]
