Countdown is a Crucible mode introduced in Destiny 2.
Overview[edit]
Countdown is an attack/defend mode, where a team of enemy Guardians must detonate the enemy team's mine in order to set it off and defeat the opposing team.[1] The mines were once part of the Red Legion that have been repurposed for training Guardians by Shaxx.
