Lucent Reliquists are a type of Hive Knight that are encountered in the PsiOps Battlegrounds activity. Majors are distinguished by their white armor with dark blue markings, and they bear Cleavers as their weapon.[1]

There is also an Elite variant that appears later in the activity, but are featured more prominently in PsiOps Battleground: Cosmodrome.[2]

Gameplay[edit]

In the PsiOps Battleground: EDZ activity, the Lucent Portalguards that appear throughout the mission are protected by immunity shields. In order to destroy these shields, players must kill the Lucent Reliquists, which spawn after killing enough enemies, and take their Cleavers to break through the Portalguards' defenses. The swords dropped by the Reliquists function identically to the ones dropped by Accursed Swordbearers in the Pit of Heresy Dungeon: they have a slashing combo, a block ability that deflects enemy fire, and can shoot blade-like projectiles.[3] The Elite Reliquists that appear in PsiOps Battlegrounds: Cosmodrome do not drop any Cleavers, as there are no Portalguards present.

When playing PsiOps Battlegrounds on Legend difficulty, Reliquists will possess Arc Absorption Shields, which are highly durable against weapons and abilities that do not match said damage type.
