Gameplay[edit]

Hemolymph Repair Shanks had much more health than regular Heavy Shanks, and had the ability to repair Arsenal Walkers if not attended to. They were outfitted with Void machine guns that could have killed Guardians in seconds. Their weak spot was the purple opening on the front of its chassis.

Trivia[edit]

  • Hemolymph is a circulatory fluid (different from blood) found on Earth in arthropods. Since the Fallen are insectoid, their circulatory fluid may very well be closer to hemolymph than blood.
    • However, this does not really explain the use of the term for a vehicle used to repair combat mechs, as, so far as is known, the mechs are not organic.
    • It is possible the mechs, or Fallen equipment in general, are biotechnological, although there is no confirmation for this idea at present.
