Overview[edit]
A subdivision of the Blind Legion, the Star Blazers serves as both an elite Flame-trooper unit, as well as Strike forces for the Scout Legions on Mars, usually deployed sporadically against enemy lines for aggressive rampage and destruction against key Vex locations to weaken for the Blind Legion to move in. However, following the Taken War, they would be used instead to aggressively attack any Guardian encroachments to reclaim lost territory. Recently setting up bases further out from Firebase Rubicon known as the "Rubicon Outskirts".
The Star Blazers' command are known as the Banner of Valiant Flames, headed by Val Jo'arrc, their Field Commander. The Command consists primarily of Blind Legion officers close to Jo'arrc and are headquartered in the Imperial Land Tank Cornobas Vae X in the Rubicon Outskirts while Val Jo'arrc himself commands the legion from his personal ship, the Cabal Carrier, Kenvage Col V.
Troops of the Star Blazers are identifiable by their scarlet armors with yellow and orange accents, along with brushed crests and rebreathers attached to their helmets. However, Colossi appear to have orange armors while Centurions and Phalanxes have more yellow in their armors. Their Harvesters and Goliath Tanks have scarlet accents painted on their hulls.
Star Blazers deploy a unique group of Cabal troops only used by them, in which elite Legionaries, Centurions, and Colossi have modified armors and weapon with incinerator capabilities for offensive and retaliatory attacks. The Star Blazers also deploy their own Psion Burners alongside their forces.

- During the boss fight against Val Jo'arrc in the Upon the Stars raid, he has Blind Legions soldiers assisting him rather than Star Blazer units.
