Nirwen was a Warlock and a member of the Iron Wolves. He was present, and presumably fell during the Battle of Site-6, a harrowing conflict in the Plaguelands that saw the end of the Iron Wolves, and the near-extinction of the Iron Lords. At some point prior to Nirwen's demise, the notorious Warlock Osiris studied under the tutelage of both he and Felwinter[2]. In spite of his death, Lord Saladin Forge commemorates his life through the Iron Banner. Rewarding Guardians with two different weapons and a Warlock Bond ornament in the the fallen's namesake, one is a Pulse Rifle with an exceptional reload speed and stability rating[3], and the other is a burst-fire sidearm commissioned by SUROS.
