Overview
Bygones is a 360 RPM Adaptive Frame pulse rifle that is obtained from the Drifter or completing gear-rewarding Gambit bounties, milestones, or infamy rank-ups.
Gameplay
Bygones is more suited for PvP action but with the more PvE beneficial perks it is still very adept at PvP. The best combination of perks for this weapon for PvP are, either Smallbore or Arrowhead Brake, Flared Magwell, Outlaw, and finally Kill Clip. The best Masterwork for this weapon is the stability Masterwork, as it allows users to more easily hand critical hits and have more control over the weapon. The best mod for this weapon is either Freehand Grip, for increased ready speed and accuracy speed when firing for the hip, or Counterbalance Stock, which reduces the weapon's recoil deviation. In PvE, for the best perk combination, the barrel and magazine perks stay the same, but Outlaw and Rampage are a brilliant combination,Rampage increasing the weapon's damage for a short time after killing enemies and Outlaw ensuring that reloading does not too greatly interrupt Rampage's duration. The mods and masterwork stay the same. Bygones deals Kinetic damage, and therefore has no bonus damage to shields of any specific element. Bygones is most effective in both PvE and PvP at medium range.
