Sedia, formerly known as Sedia, the Corrupted during her time as a Taken Techeun, is an Awoken Techeun who served the Queen, Mara Sov. She assisted the Queen several times, once to reach out to straying Awoken,[2] and another as a bodyguard since the Wolf Rebellion.[3] She is the boss of The Corrupted Strike.
Before the fateful Battle of Saturn Sedia participated in a rare meeting with the Coven, discussing what to do about Oryx, the Taken King.[1] She expressed doubt as to the strength of the Harbingers against Oryx's Dreadnaught, a fear Illyn assured was unfounded.[1]
Sedia was later Taken when Oryx unleashed the Dreadnaught's superweapon in retaliation for deploying the Harbingers.[4]
When the Guardian first reached the Dreaming City, Sedia was present along with her fellow Taken Techeuns. Upon the Guardian's approach, she and her sister Techeuns immediately banished them into the Ascendant realm, forcing them to escape.
A Guardian Strike team was later commissioned by Petra Venj to push deep into Sedia's lair within the Dreaming City, where they successfully weakened her down and freed her from her Taken corruption.
