I am Lord Spectrus, commander-in-chief of my enigmatic task force, the Spectral Guardians. It is highly unlikely that you will ever encounter me or my field operatives ever in your lifetime. We are the shadows that strike from the dark, eliminating threats before the city even knows about them. We don't receive any recognition for our actions, yet we keep quietly protecting the city in the wilds. We lend our support to Dead Orbit, of which only the current Arach knows of our existence. And only the highest ranking Vanguard lieutenants know of us. The reason we give our support to Dead Orbit, is because survival is our primary objective, and Dead Orbit's key focus is protecting and readying humanity from any superior threat. We pledge that we will lay down our lives to stop humanity falling into the dark depths of extinction.
