An Auto Rifle is a class of primary weapons featured in Destiny. All-purpose weapons, auto rifles are magazine-fed weapons that, as its name suggests, automatically removes the spent cartridge case, cocks the rifle, loads a new cartridge and fires again repeatedly, as long as the trigger is held down or until the magazine is exhausted. Auto rifles are distinguished from scout and pulse rifles in their ability to fire constantly once the trigger is pulled.

• Sweet Business- Gatling gun-style auto rifle with a 99-round magazine that gains rate of fire and range the longer the trigger is held down. Automatically loads picked up ammo into the magazine if firing.
• Hard Light- 600 RPM auto rifle that can switch elemental damage types at will. Rounds fired from the gun have no damage falloff, bounce repeatedly off hard surfaces and can over-penetrate targets.
