The Harvester is a troop carrier that is used by the Cabal.[1] The Red Legion uses variants of Harvesters called Threshers.
Overview
Unlike Skiffs, Ketches and Tombships, Harvesters cannot teleport; to make up for this they can move at extremely fast speeds. They are armed with a single Solar cannon on the nose that fire at enemies as the ship drops off troops. This cannon fires fast-moving, powerful rockets that track their targets. Harvesters will linger on the battlefield to provide supporting fire to cover the troops they deploy.
Harvesters typically deploy up to three waves of Cabal troops, including Centurions, Legionaries, and Psions. Sometimes they can deploy Colossi.
The Red Legion employs sleeker, more advanced variants of the Harvesters, known as Threshers, in contrast to the original ones used by the Cabal scouts. These were used during the assault on Earth and the Last City under the command of Dominus Ghaul, and throughout The Red War.[2]
