- — Weapon description
The Duke MK.44 is a Superior Hand Cannon in Destiny. While it has a low rate of fire and a high recoil, it produces a high amount of damage with each round and is not effected by reticule bloom.[1] The Duke was manufactured at the City's Sector 08 Armory.[2] It has a built in "quick draw holo sight", as well as a "hair trigger".[3] Whether or not this will affect gameplay is as of yet unknown.
Trivia
- The name is likely a reference to the .44 Magnum Mega Class from Marathon, an earlier Bungie game.
- The magazine size is a reference to Bungie's favorite number, seven.
