| 28 August || The fall of the Last City - Homecoming || Two years after the Taken War, the Cabal Empire would respond to the losses suffered at the hands of Guardians by dispatching the Red Legion, led by Ghaul, to launch a major invasion of Earth. The Red Legion attempted to steal the Traveler's Light, severing its connection from the Guardians with a cage. This attack would completely devastate humanity's last safe city and the Tower, forcing the survivors to scatter. | 28 November || Riven returns || The Guardian returns to the Dreaming City as the Witness sends the Sol Divisive to invade it and hamper their efforts to bypass the portal into the Pale Heart while it begins to enact the Final Shape. The Guardian visits Riven's corpse and recovers an Ahamkara tooth so the Techeuns can conjure the spirit of Riven, and attempt to uncover the 15th wish. Riven refuses to grant the 15th wish until she tasks the Guardian with recovering her clutch. Riven accuses Mara of scattering her clutch when the Guardian enters her lair and discovers that it is missing from its physical location. The Techeuns would use the Ley Lines to locate the clutch. After recovering the first of her clutch, Riven reveals the relationship between her species and the Awoken before tasking them with clearing out her lair while the Techeuns locate the remaining eggs. Osiris would also look into an alternative solution should Riven be tricky via the Veil.

| 5 December || The next egg recovered || The Techeuns would finally locate the second of her clutch; however, Petra informs the Guardian that it will be more difficult to locate and recover the remaining eggs without the help of the Harbingers: mysterious entities that were once used in the Battle of Saturn. Petra tasks them with recovering a Starlight Lodestone from the Chamber of Starlight to guide the Harbinger to the clutch still scattered. Before returning to Riven, Osiris would provide an update on the Veil and his attempts to replicate the Witness's link to it through the Guardian's Ghost.

| 7 January || Kell of Kells || Fikrul uses the Echo to revive the Scorned Barons after he leaves Skolas in charge of the Revenant Scorn forces within the Prison of Elders. Eramis reveals that Fikrul's Echo is able to alter Ether polarity just in the same way Mays's Echo is able to alter radiolaria structures. She urges them to stop Fikrul, but before they enter the Revenant Fortress, Eido gives them a frame to assist in the construction of Slayer's Fang. As they make their way through the fortress, Mithrax's condition worsens to the point where Nezarec is able to possess him temporarily. They would enter an extra-dimensional space called the Revenant Plane, a mirror reflection of the material made through Fikrul's Echo. They find Fikrul in the fortress throne room, but they are unable to defeat him as he sends in Reksis Vahn to fight in his place. After they return to Eido, they learn that she is close to creating a tonic capable of altering Fikrul’s Ether polarity, but the ingredients required to create the tonic is known only to Ixis, the Apothecary found inside the Revenant Fortress. They return there and see the Scorned Organist before it flees. They were able to find Ixis behind a door within the fortress staircase. After speaking with the Apothecary and defeating the Screeb Matriach sent by Fikrul, Eido is finally finished with creating the tonic, now called the Tonic of Ether Clarification. She mixes the tonic into the injector device she sends to the Guardian before they head off to face Fikrul himself. After facing him in the throne room and weakening him enough for the Guardian to use the injector device onto him, he becomes an Eliksni before fainting. Eramis and Mithrax, who is possessed by Nezarec, witness Fikrul’s defeat before the Echo floats into the air. The Echo recognizes Eramis to be worthy of wielding its power. She accepts the Echo's offer on the condition that its power be used to cleanse Mithrax of Nezarec's influence. She attempts to offer the Echo to Mithrax, but he declines. Therefore, Mithrax is chosen as the Kell of Kells while Eramis scrambles to leave the Sol System for good. The Guardian then returns to the Prison of Elders once more and defeats Skolas despite the tough battle.

| 4 February || Espial/Recce ||The third Echo, the Echo of Navigation, would land on the Dreadnaught, containing the memories of Oryx in the time between his ascent to the Taken King and the birth of his children. After it landed on the Dreadnaught, the Dire Taken and the Eversion Anchors began to appear throughout the Sol System. The Guardian is sent by Eris and the Driver to investigate the Eversion Anchor in the EDZ while the pair investigate the Dreadnaught. After defeating the Dire Taken forces including Gorkall, the Gatekeeper, they learn that the Eversion Anchors are being launched from the Dreadnaught. The Guardian follows the Eversion Anchor through the Ascendant Plane and regroup with Eris and Drifter as they are under assault from the Dread and Dire Taken forces led by Keit'Ehr. It kills Eris with its lance, shocking the Drifter. He instructs the Guardian to obtain the Tablet of Ruin upon defeating Felghul the Requisitioner, then pursue the Resonant Knife. While pursuing the Dread commander, they see strange blights with cat-like eyes that can inflict them with Suffocating Terror. They were able to stop a ritual and witness the Drifter grieving Eris's death. They visit Eris's flat to hear her message, then interact with the Shaping Slab nearby, where Sloane gives them a mission: avenge Eris by investigating the Dreadnaught.
|-
| 4 February-18 February || Echoed Warning || They return to the Dreadnaught to collect intel on the activities of the Dread and the Dire Taken occupying the Dreadnaught. After fighting the forces within the Dreadnaught, it responds by stopping them from infiltrating deeper into it, so Sloane formulates a new plan: meet her in the Dreaming City. Upon meeting her there, she teaches them to follow the Path of Resolve. She instructs them to infiltrate the Eversion Anchor by tapping into Taken energy. They were successful in driving out the Eversion Anchor. After enhancing the Path of Resolve and obtaining the Tome of Want, they find another Eversion Anchor within Savathûn's Throne World. They were able to track it to the Temple of the Cunning with tactical assistance from Luzaku and find that Savathûn has beaten them there. She warns them to stay out of the affairs, but they ignore her. They return to the Dreadnaught to gather data from the Skyburner remnants. The data reveals that the Dreadnaught's system are biological in nature, so they kill various Hive lieutenants before meeting Sloane in the Dreadnaught. While placing the corpses on the Dreadnaught's weapon systems, the Echo begins to speak to the Guardian, seeing them as a trespasser. After witnessing the Echo within the Hall of Souls, Xivu Arath and Savathûn arrive on the Dreadnaught as well. While Xivu Arath see the Echo as a sign of Oryx's return, Savathûn sees it as a path to create their own future for themselves. They escape from the Dreadnaught as Dire Taken began to ambush them. Before returning to the Shaping Slab, Drifter explains his decision to go AWOL. With Drifter AWOL and the Hive pantheon mobilizing their forces to invade the Dreadnaught, Sloane reminds them to stay focused in their investigation of the Eversion Anchors's link to the Dreadnaught.

| 7 February || Sundered Doctrine || Unfulfilled by the forms bestowed upon them by the Witness, a faction of Dread under the command of Kerrev, the Erased embark on a expedition to search for an immense source of power that will allow them to reshape themselves into the forms they desire. Establishing a foothold deep within the Sunken Pyramid, the Dread align themselves with the Hive within the ship and strive to unlock the secret contained within Rhulk's vault. To uncover the Pyramid's secrets and to halt the Dread's ambitions, the Guardian is dispatched by the Hidden to investigate their activity while being taunted by Savathûn. Eliminating the numerous Dread and Hive forces in their way, the Guardian completes a riddle to reveal a way further into the Pyramid and navigates through a maze. Destroying the four Dread-modified Shriekers known as the Zoetic Lockset, the Guardian progresses deeper into the Pyramid where the corpses of large Worms reside and defeats Kerrev within the room containing the vault. Following Kerrev's defeat, the Guardian continues their investigations in the Pyramid and successfully opens Rhulk's vault to discover Oryx's chisel that he used to carve the Tablets of Ruin. To prevent any potential threats from seizing the chisel for themselves, the Hidden establish a perimeter in the Sunken Pyramid.
