They learn from Mithrax that Fikrul is seeking something within the derelict prison and that the Guardian must return there once more to uncover his latest ambition. They learn that Fikrul has used the Echo to bring back Skolas from death, but they learn from Variks that the Echo is a paracausal entitiy that contain memories. The Echo that Fikrul wields is singing a Whirlwind dirge and is discontent with Fikrul's ambition of becoming the Kell of Kells through its power. After defeating the reborn Skolas, Fikrul uses the Echo to revive him and the duo escape. After reporting to Eido, she suggests that Eramis be freed from her prison since Mithrax's deteriorating symptom is keeping him from challenging Fikrul for the Kell of Kells mantle. They were able to free her after delivering a Golden Age comic to Spider. They do so and Eramis informs them that she will contact them once she she reached the coordinates as given by Eido.
| 19 November || Grave Robber || Mithrax realizes that Fikrul's attention has turned to the now-derelict Prison of Elders. They then return to the derelict prison at Eido's encouragement. | 7 January || Kell of Kells || Fikrul uses the Echo to revive the Scorned Barons after he leaves Skolas in charge of the Revenant Scorn forces within the Prison of Elders. Eramis reveals that Fikrul's Echo is able to alter Ether polarity just in the same way Mays's Echo is able to alter radiolaria structures. She urges them to stop Fikrul, but before they enter the [[Revenant Fortress]], Eido gives them a frame to assist in the construction of [[Slayer's Fang]]. As they make their way through the fortress, Mithrax's condition worsens to the point where Nezarec is able to possess him temporarily. They would enter an extra-dimensional space called the [[Revenant Plane]], a mirror reflection of the material made through Fikrul's Echo. They find Fikrul in the fortress throne room, but they are unable to defeat him as he sends in Reksis Vahn to fight in his place. After they return to Eido, they learn that she is close to creating a tonic capable of altering Fikrul’s Ether polarity, but the ingredients required to create the tonic is known only to [[Ixis]], the Apothecary found inside the Revenant Fortress. They return there and see the [[Scorned Organist]] before it flees. They were able to find Ixis behind a door within the fortress staircase. After speaking with the Apothecary and defeating the [[Screeb Matriach]] sent by Fikrul, Eido is finally finished with creating the tonic, now called the Tonic of Ether Clarification. She mixes the tonic into the injector device she sends to the Guardian before they head off to face Fikrul himself. After facing him in the throne room and weakening him enough for the Guardian to use the injector device onto him, he becomes an Eliksni before fainting. Eramis and Mithrax, who is possessed by Nezarec, witness Fikrul’s defeat before the Echo floats into the air. The Echo recognizes Eramis to be worthy of wielding its power. She accepts the Echo's offer on the condition that its power be used to cleanse Mithrax of Nezarec's influence. She attempts to offer the Echo to Mithrax, but he declines. Therefore, Mithrax is chosen as the Kell of Kells while Eramis scrambles to leave the Sol System for good. The Guardian then returns to the Prison of Elders once more and defeats Skolas despite the tough battle.

| 4 February-18 February || Echoed Warning || They return to the Dreadnaught to collect intel on the activities of the Dread and the Dire Taken occupying the Dreadnaught. After fighting the forces within the Dreadnaught, it responds by stopping them from infiltrating deeper into it, so Sloane formulates a new plan: meet her in the Dreaming City. Upon meeting her there, she teaches them to follow the Path of Resolve. She instructs them to infiltrate the Eversion Anchor by tapping into Taken energy. They were successful in driving out the Eversion Anchor. After enhancing the Path of Resolve and obtaining the [[Tome of Want]], they find another Eversion Anchor within Savathûn's Throne World. They were able to track it to the Temple of the Cunning with tactical assistance from Luzaku and find that Savathûn has beaten them there. She warns them to stay out of the affairs, but they ignore her. They return to the Dreadnaught to gather data from the Skyburner remnants. The data reveals that the Dreadnaught's system are biological in nature, so they kill various Hive lieutenants before meeting Sloane in the Dreadnaught. While placing the corpses on the Dreadnaught's weapon systems, the Echo begins to speak to the Guardian, seeing them as a trespasser. After witnessing the Echo within the [[Hall of Souls]], Xivu Arath and Savathûn arrive on the Dreadnaught as well. While Xivu Arath see the Echo as a sign of Oryx's return, Savathûn sees it as a path to create their own future for themselves. They escape from the Dreadnaught as Dire Taken began to ambush them. Before returning to the Shaping Slab, Drifter explains his decision to go AWOL. With Drifter AWOL and the Hive pantheon mobilizing their forces to invade the Dreadnaught, Sloane reminds them to stay focused in their investigation of the Eversion Anchors's link to the Dreadnaught.
