An Acolyte's Eye is a Taken construct that acts as a long-range stationary turret, bombarding an enemy with a stream of Arc-damaging energy.

Overview[edit]

Acolyte's Eyes are typically summoned into battle by Taken Acolytes, but they can rarely appear independently or at the call of other powerful enemies. These constructs are fragile, requiring only little effort to destroy them, but their barrage is powerful enough to break an unwary Guardian's shield in moments. They will remain in place even after the Taken Acolytes that summoned them are killed.

In Destiny 2, the Acolyte's Eyes' fully automatic attack is replaced by bursts of three Arc projectiles. When the eyes are summoned, they must be manually killed even if the Acolyte who summoned them dies.

Variants[edit]

Trivia[edit]

  • These turrets serve a similar purpose to the Hive Shrieker, though in a smaller size.
