The waves of enemies preceeding the Counterfeit Hydra will consist of numerous Taken [[Vex]], including [[Deceived Hobgoblin]]s. The Hydra itself is equipped with a [[Solar]] [[Aeon Maul]] and two rotating impregnable shields. It is also capable of firing blinding Darkness Bolts like a [[Taken Captain]], and at close range it will unleash a Temporal Shockwave smash melee which can inflict serious damage.
