Trip Mines are mines used by the Fallen to set up traps and deny access to key areas.
Gameplay[edit]
Trip Mines can be found in many activities with Fallen presence, from Lost Sectors to Story Missions. They are often set in long fields, so that a foe may trip multiple at the same time. They deal massive Solar damage, enough that a single one can break a Guardian's shield even at low difficulties, and outright kill them at high ones. Sometimes, they are positioned in such a way that a careful player can slip through gaps in the lasers, but the emitter part can also be shot, detonating the mine instantly. They also emit a low humming sound.
