Chelchis, Kell of Stone was a Kell to the Fallen House of Stone who once "stood before the Maw". According to Fallen legend, Chelchis and the House of Stone held off the Hive so the other Houses could escape Riis. The Fallen still revere Chelchis in their songs.[2] From artifact and weapon descriptions, it can be assumed that Chelchis was killed by Oryx, the Taken King himself and, in her last moments, called out in vain for the Traveler, only to be crushed by the power of the Taken King.[3]
