The Strand is a region of the Dreaming City. Petra Venj can be found here during the first week of the three-week Taken curse cycle. Beneath one of the hills is a cave which features the Lost Sector known as Aphelion's Rest. The entrance to the Gardens of Esila can also be found in the southern area of The Strand. In the middle of the region is a rift generator that must be frequently defended from the Scorn and Taken.
