The Mind's Safeguard Puppet variant functions like any captain with a Shock Rifle but drop Nuclear cores necessary to survive the encounter's wipe mechancies. These cores like the ones from [[Deep Stone Crypt (raid)|Deep Stone Crypt]] apply the "Radiation" debuff while held. The debuff becomes fatal if the number reaches 10. To prevent this, players are advised to coordinate their radiation levels by passing each other the cores. Failure to deposit the cores in time will also result in the team wiping. | |||

Broken Puppet, Mind's Safeguard are a variant of Captain that appear as a pristine intact version of the Corrupted Puppeteer but wield Shock Rifle instead of the Wire Rifle seen in the hands of the Puppeteer themselves. They drop the Nuclear Cores you need to progress the encounter or survive the Boss's wipe depending on where you are encountering them, whether on the Outer Hull or inside the station.[1]
Gameplay[edit]
The Mind's Safeguard Puppet variant functions like any captain with a Shock Rifle but drop Nuclear cores necessary to survive the encounter's wipe mechancies. These cores like the ones from Deep Stone Crypt apply the "Radiation" debuff while held. The debuff becomes fatal if the number reaches 10. To prevent this, players are advised to coordinate their radiation levels by passing each other the cores. Failure to deposit the cores in time will also result in the team wiping.
Trivia[edit]
- Like the Puppeteer, the Exo body used by the Broken Puppets is identical in appearance to those used by Atraks-1, except their wing-like on their back is sideways, and their eyes don't glow prominently; it is unknown if the two are actually related in some way.
Appearance[edit]
- Destiny 2: Episode: Revenant (First appearance)
