Distortion Adherents are specialized Hive Adherents empowered by the Darkness, using this newfound power to disrupt hostile movement and radar.
Gameplay[edit]
Not too dissimilar from their ranged inferiors, Distortion Adherents seek out a good vantage point to pin their opponents down and hit them with an occasional Acolyte Grenade. However, the Adherent also has the ability to inhibit the movement of their opponent with a special shot from their Soulfire Rifle that scrambles the movement of their opponent and disrupts their opponent's radar, permitting their allies to close in on them covertly. Because of their rather frustrating abilities and aversion to direct confrontation, they bear a weaker health pool than their fellow Champions.
