They are tasked by [[Praksis, the Technocrat]], to go out in the field and study on certain things/areas, presumably the [[Crux of Darkness|Cruxes of Darkness]] or [[Vex]]-related objectives. These captains have less armor of their peers, likely due to their role as field researchers as opposed to outright combatants, and are almost entirely snow-white in appearance. They wear quilted scarves with sparsely furred, flat collars, armor composed primarily of pleated and pocketed cloth, and a white belt-cape with House Salvation symbol emblazoned on it.
