Advanced Defense Units (shortened to ADU) are highly advanced defense systems designed by the forces of the Last City, to be used in certain sectors across Earth and the system.[1]

Gameplay
In all variants of Onslaught, the ADU serves as the objective all players must defend as its destruction will end the activity and not grant them their rewards. When Onslaught is started, players must kill all of the initial adds to set up the ADU and allow players to earn an in-game currency called Scrap. This currency is used for purchasing and upgrading defenses players can set up at the beginning of every set, which is composed of 10 waves, and after the end of every 3rd and 6th waves within that set.
