Trivia[edit]
- Many shotguns make use of six o'clock hold iron sights, where a target is sighted just above the barrel of the weapon instead of through a pair of points mounted on top of the barrel, as in other iron sights.
- For gameplay reasons, the low effective range and pellet spread of shotguns in Destiny is greatly exaggerated compared to reality, as a real shotgun would need to have a comically short barrel to come anywhere close to the range and spread of shotguns in-game.
- Some shotguns in Destiny 1 like Matador 64 and Party Crasher +1 have their gauge printed on the side, above the trigger.
- They both take 12 Gauge shells.
