Overload Chieftains are powerful Champions of the Scorn, enhanced with powers of the Darkness.
Gameplay[edit]
The Overload Chieftain regenerates health like all Overload Champions do. In addition to its regeneration, it deploys all 3 Ether Totem variants to prevent Guardians from stopping it, even more than one at a time. It can deploy Ether-Shields to protect itself, deploy Ether-Torches to force Guardians out of cover, and/or deploy Ether-Binds to slow down Guardians long enough for its Scorn minions to flank them. The totems themselves emit Dark tendrils to make it stand out from the totems its standard brethrens use. An Overload Chieftain can be stunned by first destroying any Ether-Shields the Chieftains have deployed, then using mods or Exotic weapons capable of stunning Overload Champions such as Divinity. Stunning the Champion destroys all its active totems.
