The Cabal Headhunter is a long range marksman weapon of the Cabal, encountered first in the arsenal of the Red Legion.
Gameplay[edit]
The Headhunter is a very long range Solar rifle, similar to the Vex Line Rifle. A user must aim the weapon for a while, with a visible red laser pointer to aid in target acquisition. The rifle must be charged for a second before shooting, emitting a distinct sound. The projectile is very fast and highly damaging, but a quick target is cabable of dodging it. It is commonly found in the hands of Psions of all ranks, who take pot shots and quickly find cover or reposition themselves. Rarely, it is wielded by high ranking Legionaries, who stay more exposed, but can take greater punishment and loose a shot even as they are being fired upon.
Bracus Zahn uses a variant with a green laser and slower charge speed, but even higher damage.
Trivia[edit]
