Claws of the Witness are Hive commanders encountered during Onslaught, comprising of Wizards, Knights, Shriekers, and Ogres. They are the final bosses on every 10th wave of the activity.
Gameplay[edit]
The Claws of the Witness are encountered as the first four bosses of the activity Onslaught. Upon beginning the encounter they will frequently summon Hive reinforcements, including Shielded Knights. When two capture zones appear around the room, Guardians can bring forth turrets for assistance if the zones are successfully captured. If Sparkhoarders appear around the room, Guardians can slay them and bring the spark to the rift to ignite it, dealing damage to the boss. Once the Claw of the Witness is slain the encounter is complete.
