*There exists a plot hole in that it is largely speculated that [[Oryx, the Taken King]] destroyed Savathûn’s warship in an opportunity to kill his sister during the Hive’s invasion against the [[Qugu]]. The Arrival

The Lure is a Hive flagship utilized by Savathûn, the Witch Queen shortly after her return as a Lightbearer. Sometime after Mars had returned from its fate with the Black Fleet, Savathûn would later use the Lure as a means to trick the Guardians into entering into her Throneworld.

Design

The ship is partially toroidal in structure, with a gap that gives it a horseshoe-like shape.

Trivia

  • The ship's shape and coloration strongly resemble the derelict alien vessel featured in Ridley Scott's classic sci-fi/horror film Alien and its prequel Prometheus.
