Gameplay[edit]

Ixion, Covetous Mind blocks the entrance to the Transmit Mechanism. It is assisted by an army of Vex, including Quantum Hobgoblins and a Malignant Wyvern. It has no unique mechanics and will fire upon the player from the steps leading down to the Transmit Mechanism. Once Ixion alongside the remainder of the Vex are slain the encounter is complete.

Trivia[edit]

  • Ixion is named after the King of the Lapiths in Greek mythology, who was bound to a burning wheel by Zeus as punishment for his love for Hera.
