Venom of Oryx is a minor Hive sect that appears exclusively in the quest mission The First Firewall.
Overview
The Venom of Oryx is a small elite task force led by Kandorak and sent by Oryx, the Taken King to destroy Rasputin from the inside, likely an indicator to the Venom part of their name. They were thwarted by The Guardian and Kandorak slain, the Curious Transceiver he had salvaged from Rasputin taken from him. All members of this Hive sect seen so far are Knights with Arc shields and Void Shredders. They can be seen fighting alongside Taken Knights.
