When the players reach the final boss, they will fight it until a third of its health is depleted. At that point, two [[Imperial Optus]] Psions will appear which will trap the Lightbearer, then open its inner world as a [[Mindscape]] and send the [[Guardian]]s into it. Within, the players will fight the Lightbearing Hive at peak power, and it will summon massive amounts of reinforcements. After losing a third of its health, the Hive will disappear and summon an [[Aspect of Savathûn]], or two for the second third. These Aspects are invulnerable to all damage, except for the [[Synaptic Spear]], which will appear in the arena. Once the Aspects are slain, the boss will reappear, and be vulnerable. Crushing the Lightbearer's [[Ghost]] will deprive it of the [[Light]], and finish the battle. | ||
