The Takedown within the Nephilim is a Hive Takedown released in The Final Shape. Lucent Brood forces have congregated in the underground sections of the Court of Savathûn. Guardians must venture into the catacombs to uncover this Hive plot within a small Lucent city and destroy the rising champions of Savathûn, the Witch Queen. Like the Takedowns before it, players must venture into the Lucent tunnels of Savathûn's Throne World with a chance to unlock Savathûn themed weapons and armor along with the Trickster's Lie Exotic Submachine gun through challenging puzzles and a more ferocious opposition.
Overview
Like all of its predecessors, the Takedown is rife with challenging enemies and is notorious for its unforgiving checkpoint system, only providing three save spots: the Stronghold, after completing Toil and Trouble, and after defeating TBA for those who seek to acquire the Trickster's Lie Exotic Submachine gun.
