::::The vehicles in the image of the "snowed in city" appeared, to me at least, to be abandoned (note the build-up of snow, which would be removed if the vehicle was active/moving). And those stood around appeared to be humans. Though Race 4 does appear to be Hive. Note their zombie-esque stances, and the sheer number of them shown. Having his "soul ripping out of him" could be an explanation of their backstory, how they came to be. Though I agree with Sgtfrankie, I guess we should wait until we are completely sure.
