Overview
This weapon primarily operates by firing puffs of Solar flame at a moderate range, which can leave behind residual flames if they hit a surface, dealing lingering burning damage to unwary targets. The stream of flames can be arched to increase its range, though its slowness makes the Magma Launcher unlikely to hit moving targets beyond its optimal range. Up close, the weapon can be charged to fire a short-ranged Compression Blast that knocks the target back very far.
The rare Taken Incendiors have their Magma Launchers transformed into the Orphic Flame Tank. This weapon still launches Solar flames, though smeared in a black tinge, but instead of the Compression Blast, it can charged to launch an Umbral Blast, a long ranged explosive that deals Solar damage and leaves behind a burning pool of Void flames.
