Coral Devourers are a foes in service of Xivu Arath, God of War. They are first encountered during Season of the Deep, where they are seen bearing multiple samples of Taken-corrupted Egregore coral pieces.
Gameplay
Coral Devourers are the central enemies of the "Purify Coral" encounter of the Abyss depth. They will appear in groups, accompanied by numerous other enemies, and must be slain to make them drop Corrupted Coral spheres. The first wave will consist of Elite versions, while the second an third wave will be Majors. If a Pressure Trial is activated, giant Ultra Coral Devourers will appear in a fourth wave.
