A Minor, or Rank-And-File, is the lowest level enemy combatant of any given species or class.
Overview
They can be distinguished by their red health bars and non-unique names. These enemies have often very low health and are seen in larger amounts than other tougher enemies, and may rarely be equipped with Absorption Shields. Minors can appear anywhere from Patrols to Raids and can come in the form of any enemy species. In Destiny, Minors of every faction have two higher ranks, identified by an adjective in front of their name, that appear in higher difficulty activities. Due to the high amounts Minors are encountered in and their often cannon fodder role, they are often also colloquially referred to as 'adds'.
