Royal Awoken Guard | |
---|---|
The Royal Awoken Guard, also known as the Queen's Guard, is the personal bodyguard of Mara Sov, the Queen of the Reef. They are primarily tasked with safeguarding the Queen from both direct threats to her person and indirect threats that endanger the Reef as a whole.
The Queen's Guard is commanded by one of the seven Paladins and operates closely with Prince Uldren, the Master of Crows. All members of the Guard are trained in espionage, diplomacy, and combat involving firearms as well as hand-to-hand.[1]
During Skolas' rebellion, a Fallen contingent of the guard attempted to assassinate the Queen herself. Led by their captain Saviks, Queenbreaker[2], the newly dubbed Queenbreakers were repulsed by the Awoken guards with heavy casualties on both sides.[3][4]
