Optus

Optus is a rank among the Cabal Military exclusive to Psions. The position it places Psions in the Cabal hierarchy is unknown.

Overview

Seen exclusive to Imperial Cabal members, Optus' (Opti) are Psions with the citizenship of Freeborn that have been given the added benefit of a military ranking. Although how high or low the rank of Optus is currently remains unknown, Optus' are above their rank-and-file compatriots and may be very similar to a Bracus. Many Opti take the form of named Commanders, although an unnamed Optus Psion variant also exists.

Another variant, known as the Imperial Optus, assist the Guardians in capturing Hive Lightbearers.
