The Daemon were a unique enemy encountered exclusively in the Infinite Forest of Mercury. They existed as passage keepers, locking the doors of each level of the Forest until killed. They were named after the computing term.
Gameplay
It was evident that a Daemon had spawned once the door of the next area being opened was red instead of the usual white. They could have appeared as any class of any race, always being a Major enemy. Sometimes, multiple Daemons could have spawned. A message would appear stating that "Forest Pathway Cleared" after killing the Daemon(s), which allowed the player to open the gate to the next area.
