Dark Council Guards are Captains from the House of Salvation seen in the Deep Stone Crypt Raid. They are unique for their Void Absorption Shields and act as personal Guards for Dark Council members.
These units are seen protecting the House of Salvation's operations within the Crypt itself and operate as a powerful reinforcements that appear in almost all encounters.
Gameplay
Dark Council Guards are Major Captains who vary in weapon use and seen throughout various instances of the Raid. Players are required to first penetrate through their Void Absorption Shield before dealing damage to the Guards.
They are first seen in Eventide protecting the entrance to the Deep Stone Crypt with Shrapnel Launchers. Later during the sparrow encounter, Guards with Molten Welders will spawn to eliminate the Guardians and bombard them with Solar blasts.
In the later encounters the Guards will spawn with Arc Shock Blades to protect Atraks-1 and Taniks, the Abomination. Due to their high durability, a Heavy Sword such as Falling Guillotine is recommended to eliminate the Guards.
