Light-Burned Ogres are a unique type of Major Hive Ogres that are encountered in the mission The Investigation. They will spawn in the Florescent Canal after the player has opened the gate to leave the fortress. The Ogres will arrive alongside a large group of Hive enemies to prevent you from leaving, and more will spawn to replace any that are killed. On Legend difficulty, Light-Burned Ogres will appear as Ultra level enemies.

- Light-Burned Ogres appear almost identical to Phry'zhia, the Insatiable; the only difference being that they are smaller.
