The Scorn of the Fanatic is a powerful follower of Fikrul, the Fanatic that is fought in the story mission, Scorned.

Overview

The Scorn of the Fanatic engages in battle with the Guardian after Fikrul, the Fanatic flees from the Scorn's hideout within the Tangled Shore. He is very powerful and uses a Scorn Blaster in an attempt to kill the Guardian.

Gameplay

The encounter will start once the player enters the arena where the Scorn and Fanatic are located. Once spotted, Fikrul will teleport behind the arena under the protection of an immune barrier, while his student is allowed to challenge the player. The Scorn will move around the arena, blasting damage while adds continuously spawn in an attempt to overwhelm the player. Once dead though, the Fanatic will announce a speech to the Guardian before leaving the area, therefore ending the mission and rewarding the player with loot and experience.

Trivia

• The Scorn of the Fanatic is essentially the same enemy as the Fanatic's Chosen.
  • Unlike the other chosen though, the Scorn of the Fanatic may have been a favorite of Fikrul's, therefore bearing a different title.
